Shrimp in Spicy Glaze

Ingredients

  • Habanero Pepper 1 piece
  • Adobo Sauce 2 teaspoons
  • Brown Sugar 4 teaspoons
  • Chopped Green Onions 2 tablespoons
  • Lime Juice 2 tablespoons
  • Lobster tails 0 lbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the glaze, mix the jalapeño, seeded and chopped, with the adobo sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and chopped cilantro in a small bowl.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a shallow pan over high heat. In a bowl, combine the peeled shrimp, salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar. Place half of the shrimp in the pan in a single layer and fry for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove to a paper towel to drain excess fat. Repeat with the remaining shrimp.

Step 3

When the last batch of shrimp is ready, return the previous shrimp to the pan, add the glaze, stir, and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately.
