Shrimp Cocktail with Avocado

Ingredients

  • Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons
  • Yogurt powder 2 tablespoons
  • Ketchup 1 tablespoon
  • Honey ½ teaspoon
  • Worcestershire Sauce 2 teaspoons
  • TABASCO® ¼ teaspoon
  • Red Curry Powder a pinch
  • Lime 1 piece
  • Safflower Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Tiger shrimp in brine 10 oz
  • Mild Chili Spice 0 oz
  • Green Butter 2 pieces
  • Avocado 1 piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the sauce, mix mayonnaise, yogurt, ketchup, honey, Worcestershire sauce, TABASCO, and curry powder. Cut the lime and squeeze it into the sauce, adding seasonings to taste.

Step 2

Heat a skillet. Meanwhile, pat the shrimp dry and place them in a bowl. Pour in the sunflower oil, add chili and seasonings. Mix well. Place the shrimp in the skillet and cook for 1–2 minutes until they change color, squeeze lime juice, and stir to ensure the shrimp are evenly browned. Remove from heat.

Step 3

Arrange the chopped lettuce on serving plates. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Peel the skin and cut the flesh into cubes or slices, placing it on the lettuce. Top with shrimp and drizzle with sauce. Cut the remaining lime into wedges and garnish before serving.
