Shrimp and scallops in honey marinade
Ingredients
- Scallops 10 oz
- Honey 3 tablespoons
- Shrimp 20 oz
- Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons
- Barbecue sauce 3 tablespoons
- Sherry 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak 8 wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the shrimp, leaving the tails on. Clean the scallops, leaving the roe.
Step 3
Thread the shrimp and scallops onto the skewers (2 shrimp and 3 scallops per skewer) and place in a bowl. Mix honey, soy sauce, barbecue sauce, and sherry and pour over the skewers. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours, or overnight.
Step 4
Preheat the grill. Lightly oil and grill, turning, for 5 minutes until cooked, occasionally basting with the marinade.
