Breakfasts • Peruvian
Description
Shakshuka is a rich egg dish beloved throughout the Middle East and North Africa. It can be found in places like Tunisia, Palestine, Israel, Libya, Egypt, and Lebanon with Syria. The name of this dish translates from Arabic as 'mixture' — and that’s exactly what it is. Alongside the eggs, it features tomatoes, sweet peppers, cheese, and much more. This is a very hearty breakfast, but shakshuka can also be enjoyed for lunch or dinner — why not?
