Description

If you only have freshly brewed coffee at home, replace instant coffee with it. Instead of a teaspoon of instant coffee, use 40 ml of strong freshly brewed coffee. You can replace half of the milk in the recipe with water without losing flavor quality.

  • Semolina 5 oz
  • Milk 10 fl oz
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Instant coffee 1 teaspoon
  • Whipped Cream to taste
  • Ground Cinnamon to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan, add sugar, cinnamon, and coffee, and gradually sprinkle in the semolina while stirring continuously. Cook over medium heat until the desired thickness is achieved.

Step 2

Remove from heat, pour or distribute into cups depending on the thickness of the porridge, generously top with whipped cream, sprinkle with ground cinnamon, sifted cocoa powder, or grated dark chocolate, and serve. Enjoy and don't confuse it with your morning coffee.
