Ingredients
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Semolina 6 tablespoons
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour milk or a mixture of milk and water (for 480 ml of milk — 240 ml of water) into a pot and bring to a boil.
Step 2
At this moment, gradually add the semolina: either in a very thin stream while stirring vigorously, or by sifting through a sieve. This will help you avoid lumps.
Step 3
Immediately add sugar, a pinch of salt, and turn off the heat.
Step 4
Cover the porridge tightly with a lid and let it sit for 10–15 minutes.
Step 5
Then remove the lid and add the butter.
