Scrambled Eggs with Mussels and Feta
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 4 pieces
- Onion 1 head
- Frozen White Mushrooms 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Feta cheese 0 oz
- Lemon-Pepper Mix to taste
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash, peel, and slice a small onion into thin half-rings.
Step 2
Place the onion in heated olive oil in a frying pan and sauté over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring.
Step 3
Add previously thawed, rinsed, cleaned mussels (if any strings are present) and dried to the onion and sauté for another 2 minutes.
Step 4
Crack the eggs into the frying pan, season with salt and pepper. If desired, the eggs can be flipped after they start to set.
Step 5
Crumble pieces of feta cheese into the frying pan. Optionally, feta can be added to the finished dish. Cook for a few minutes until the desired consistency of the eggs is reached. Serve immediately.
