Step 1
In a small bowl, lightly beat the eggs, season with freshly ground black pepper, and add salt. Melt half of the butter in a skillet over medium heat and pour in the beaten eggs. Stirring, cook until 3/4 of the eggs are firm and fluffy, while 1/4 remains liquid.
Step 2
Remove the skillet from the heat, add the remaining butter and cheese, and mix.
Step 3
As soon as all the liquid evaporates, serve the scrambled eggs immediately.
