Scallops with Pear Sauce and Pesto
Ingredients
- Scallops 3 pieces
- Pears 1 piece
- Marinated cherries 3 pieces
- Fresh basil leaves 1 bunch
- Pistachios 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Minced garlic 1 clove
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the pear, dry it, and cut it into small cubes.
Step 2
Heat a skillet, add a little olive oil, add the pear, add a little water, and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Step 3
Rinse the scallops, dry them with a paper towel, season with salt, and place them in the skillet with the pear, frying for 4–6 minutes.
Step 4
Wash the basil, dry it, place it in a container, add the pine nuts, minced garlic, olive oil, and blend thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed.
Step 5
Place the cooked scallops on a plate, garnish with the stewed pear, the prepared pesto sauce, thinly sliced cherry tomatoes, and a sprig of basil.
Step 6
