Scallops with Bok Choy Salad and Sesame
Ingredients
- Scallops 24 pieces
- Soy Sauce 3 tablespoons
- Fish Oil 1 tablespoon
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Lime 1 piece
- Sesame Oil 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root 2 teaspoons
- Toasted Sesame 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 1 clove
- Baby Bok Choy 8 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the scallops and pat them dry with a paper towel. Mix the soy sauce, honey, lime juice, lime zest, and ginger. Add the scallops, mix well, cover, and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Pat dry and reserve the marinade.
Step 2
Heat oil on the grill and add sesame seeds and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute until the seeds are golden. Place the bok choy halves in a single layer and drizzle with the marinade. Cook for 3–4 minutes, flipping once, until tender. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
Step 3
Clean the grill, oil it again, and preheat. Add the scallops and cook for 2 minutes, flipping them. Serve on top of the bok choy with lime wedges.
