Savory horns with cheese and onion cream
Ingredients
- Butter 0 oz
- Glucose Powder 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Salt 2 teaspoons
- Egg white 4 pieces
- Semi-soft cream cheese 10 oz
- Ricotta cheese 10 oz
- Chicken Broth 4 tablespoons
- Cream 5 tablespoons
- Chives ½ bunch
- Chervil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the butter and syrup, then add the flour and salt. Gradually beat in the egg whites and let it rest for 24 hours.
Step 2
Whip the cream cheese together with the ricotta, add the cream and broth. Then add finely chopped chives, spices, and salt.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 4
Take a cardboard stencil measuring 8.5 cm by 7 cm. Using the stencil, spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture onto baking paper, repeating this several times. Bake for 3 minutes, then while hot, roll the cheese rectangles into horns.
Step 5
Fill the horns with the cheese mixture, garnish with chervil leaves, and serve immediately.
