
Sautéed Ramps with Lemon Juice

Description
A light side dish for lamb or beef. Do not substitute butter with vegetable oil, as it will not fully enhance the flavor of the ramps.
Ingredients
- Ramps 1 bunch
- Butter 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thoroughly rinse about 4 handfuls of ramp leaves, trimming off any tough parts.
Step 2
In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the ramps and a little water. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the leaves are tender.
Step 3
Drizzle with lemon juice and season with salt to taste. Serve immediately, spooning the juices over the top.
