Sautéed Apple Sauce
Ingredients
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Apple 2 pieces
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon a pinch
- Calvados 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel 2 large green tart apples, slice them, and remove the cores.
Step 2
Melt a piece of butter in a skillet, add 1 teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
Step 3
Add the apples and sauté for 1 minute.
Step 4
Add the Calvados and stir. Cover and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from heat and blend the apples with the sauce in a blender.
Step 6
Serve chilled.
