Sandwiches with Quince Jam and Goat Cheese
Breakfasts • European
Description
If desired, you can make this appetizer in the form of tapas by cutting the sandwiches into small pieces and inserting a toothpick into each. You can use any jam, but it should not be too sweet, or any sauce that goes well with cheese, such as pear sauce, and spread it in a very thin layer. A semi-hard goat or sheep cheese is needed.
Ingredients
- Sourdough Bread 4 pieces
- Apricot Jam 2 tablespoons
- Goat cheese 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the whole grain bread thinly.
Step 2
Spread a thin layer of quince jam on each piece and place two slices of goat cheese on top.
