Ingredients
- White Cabbage 1 head
- Carrot 1 piece
- Salt 1 tablespoon
- Water 15 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil 500 ml of water and dissolve the salt.
Step 2
Shred the cabbage and carrot, mix them together.
Step 3
Pour in the cooled water, discarding any sediment.
Step 4
Leave at room temperature for 2 days under a weight.
Step 5
Transfer to a glass container and pour the resulting brine over it, store in the refrigerator.
