Ingredients
- Olive Oil 3 teaspoons
- Red Grape Juice 15 fl oz
- Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Ground Black Pepper ¼ teaspoon
- Shallot 0 oz
- Cilantro 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour 1 teaspoon of olive oil into a heated skillet and add the shallots.
Step 2
Stir continuously until they turn golden brown, then pour in the grapefruit juice.
Step 3
Continue cooking until the liquid reduces by 1/3 (about 6 minutes over medium heat).
Step 4
Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 5
In the cooled mixture, add the pepper, cilantro, and sugar, and blend with an immersion blender. While blending, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
