Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 12 pieces
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Onion 3 heads
  • Vegetable Oil 6 tablespoons
  • Malt Vinegar 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Scallions 1 bunch
  • Parsley to taste
  • Dill to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Line a high-sided grill with heavy-duty foil, folded in two layers, so that it exceeds the height of the grill edges.

Step 2

Grease the foil with vegetable oil.

Step 3

Wash the potatoes with a vegetable brush and dry them.

Step 4

Without peeling, cut them in half lengthwise or slice them. Arrange in a single layer on the foil.

Step 5

Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings. Rub the onion with your hands and distribute it over the potatoes.

Step 6

Prepare the dressing. Combine wine vinegar with salt and pepper. Stir until the salt granules dissolve. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press or chop finely. Add it to the wine vinegar. Pour in the remaining vegetable oil.

Step 7

Drizzle 2/3 of the marinade over the potatoes.

Step 8

Cover with foil, folded in half, and wrap tightly to prevent any leaks.

Step 9

Grill the potatoes over coals for about 30–40 minutes.

Step 10

Drizzle with the remaining marinade and sprinkle with herbs.
