Rustic Cheese Pancakes
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 20 oz
- Sugar 4½ tablespoons
- Vanilla salt 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Clarified Butter to taste
- Salt a pinch
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mash the cottage cheese well with a fork or blend it in a mixer. Add the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, and mix well. Gradually add the sifted flour and mix the mixture well again. Use a spoon moistened with water to scoop some of the cheese mixture.
Step 2
Lightly coat in flour, shake off the excess, and shape into pancakes.
Step 3
In a skillet, heat some oil, place the pancakes in, cover the skillet with a lid, and fry on low heat until golden brown. Flip the pancakes and let them brown on the other side.
Step 4
Place the finished pancakes on a plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve with sour cream.
