Roasted Garlic Dip
Ingredients
- Garlic 2 heads
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Yogurt powder 5 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise 0 oz
- Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F. Separate the heads of garlic into cloves, but do not peel them. Place the garlic cloves on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil so that all the garlic is coated. Place the baking sheet in the oven for about half an hour. The garlic is ready when you feel it is soft when pressed with a fork. Remove the baking sheet and let the garlic cool.
Step 2
When the garlic has cooled, peel off the skins and trim the ends. Mash the garlic with a fork until it reaches a puree-like consistency and add salt.
Step 3
Add mayonnaise, yogurt, and mustard to the garlic. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with thin slices of toasted bread or pita cut into thin strips.
