Description

You can cool the garlic and squeeze the pulp out of each clove. Use it when making mashed potatoes, spread it on toast, serve it with baked potatoes, or add it to sour cream sauces. Serve with pasta, etc.

  • Garlic 2 heads
  • Olive Oil 2 teaspoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Step 2

Remove the outer skin from the heads, leaving only the skin on the cloves without damaging the integrity of the head. Use a sharp knife to cut off the top of the head so that the tops of the cloves are slightly trimmed.

Step 3

Place the heads on a baking sheet (it's easiest to roast garlic in a muffin tin) and drizzle with olive oil. Wrap each head in foil and bake for 30–35 minutes or until soft (to check, press on the head).
