- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Brussels Sprouts 20 oz
- Chopped almonds ¼ cup
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Water 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 445°F.
Step 2
Remove any old leaves from the Brussels sprouts and cut them into quarters.
Step 3
Place the butter in a baking dish and put it in the oven for 4–5 minutes until it turns light brown and develops a characteristic aroma.
Step 4
Remove the dish from the oven and add the Brussels sprouts and nuts to the butter. Season with salt and pepper and mix well. Return to the oven for about 7 minutes, then stir and drizzle with water. Return to the oven for another 7–9 minutes until tender.
