  • Rice 1 cup
  • Water 2 cups
  • Béchamel sauce 1 cup
  • Gruyère cheese ¼ cup
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
  • Broccoli 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Divide the broccoli into small florets and boil in boiling water or steam until tender. Rinse under cold water and chop finely.

Step 2

In a pot, add the rice and pour in the water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and cook for 20 minutes until the rice is tender.

Step 3

Heat the béchamel sauce.

Step 4

Add both grated cheeses to the sauce and mix well until melted. Add the broccoli and stir.

Step 5

Pour the sauce over the rice and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
