Rice Pudding Casserole with Cherry Jam

Ingredients
- Rice 1½ cups
- Cream 4 cups
- Sugar 1 cup
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Hard Cheese 0 oz
- Vanillin a pinch
- Chili jam to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rinse the rice, add it to boiling water, bring to a boil, drain in a colander, and rinse with cold water.
Step 2
Pour the prepared grains with boiling cream, cook until soft over low heat with a lid on.
Step 3
Add vanillin and sugar to the hot porridge, and stir.
Step 4
Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Step 5
Cool the porridge, beat in the eggs, distribute into small molds moistened with cold water, pack down, sprinkle with grated cheese, and place in the oven for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Invert the molds onto a wide flat plate to serve the casserole.
Step 7
Make a small indentation in the center of each portion and fill it with berries from the jam.
Step 8
Add a little water to the remaining syrup, bring to a boil.
Step 9
Drizzle the casserole with syrup and serve.
