Ingredients

- Prunes 5 oz
- Water 20 fl oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste

Step 1
Rinse the prunes and boil for 2–3 minutes, then drain the water.
Step 2
Pour boiling water over the rice, sugar, and salt, and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
When the porridge thickens, add the prunes, mix everything, transfer to pots, cover with lids, and place in the oven for 10–20 minutes to steam. Add butter to the finished porridge.
