Rice Porridge with Apple and Pumpkin

Ingredients
- Rice 1 cup
- Apple 1 piece
- Pumpkin 10 oz
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Light Raisins, Seedless 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the rice in boiling water and drain in a colander.
Step 2
Wash the apple, remove the core, cut it into small pieces, and mix with the raisins.
Step 3
Slice the pumpkin into thin slices, place them at the bottom of a dish, and drizzle with half of the vegetable oil.
Step 4
Layer half of the rice on top, then add a layer of apples and raisins, and cover with the remaining rice.
Step 5
Drizzle the top layer with the remaining oil and pour in 2 cups of salted water.
Step 6
Cook on a low simmer for 25 minutes.
