Red Onion and Red Wine Jam
Ingredients
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Sugar ½ cup
- Spanish onions 2 heads
- Red Wine Vinegar ¼ cup
- Rosé Dry Wine ½ cup

Step 1
Peel and slice the onions into thin half-rings.
Step 2
In a saucepan over low heat, warm the olive oil and add the onions. Cook until soft and translucent, about 8–10 minutes.
Step 3
Sprinkle with sugar and cook for another minute.
Step 4
Then carefully pour in the vinegar and wine. Increase the heat, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 3 minutes until the liquid evaporates and the onions caramelize. Serve warm.
