- Parsley 4 stalks
- Chervil 4 sprigs
- Tarragon 4 stalks
- Scallions 6 pieces
- Shallot 1 piece
- Garlic 1 clove
- Butter 10 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the herbs, remove the stems, and boil them for a couple of minutes in boiling water along with the shallot and garlic. Drain the herbs and vegetables in a colander and dry them. Mash everything in a mortar, pass through a sieve, and mix with the softened butter. Add salt and pepper to taste, and store in the refrigerator.
