Quick Cranberry Sauce with Orange Zest

The sauce will thicken as it cools. You can adjust the amount of spices to your taste.
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Dried cranberries with sugar 4 cups
- Orange zest 4 pieces
- Ground Cinnamon 0.1 teaspoons
- Ground Nutmeg 0.1 teaspoons
- Ground clove a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Step 2
Add the cranberries, bring to a boil again, reduce the heat, and simmer for about 10 minutes until the cranberries start to burst.
Step 3
Add the orange zest and spices to the berries. Stir and remove from heat.
Step 4
Transfer to a jar and cool.
