Pumpkin and Cheese Casserole
Ingredients
- Pumpkin 20 oz
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Milk 0 fl oz
- Whole egg 2 pieces
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 3 tablespoons
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the pumpkin from the skin, seeds, and fibers. Cut the flesh into thin slices about 2 mm thick.
Step 2
Grease an oval baking dish measuring 27 cm with butter.
Step 3
Beat the egg with the yolks. Add milk, sour cream, 2 tablespoons of Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well.
Step 4
Layer one layer of pumpkin in the dish, drizzle with a third of the sauce. Repeat with two more layers. Top with the remaining cheese.
Step 5
Bake at 340°F for 35 minutes.
