  • Pumpkin 5 oz
  • Apple 5 oz
  • Millet 5 oz
  • Boiled White Round Rice 5 oz
  • Milk 10 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

First, put the kettle on.

Step 2

While the kettle is boiling, prepare the pumpkin: peel it, remove the seeds, and cut it into small (1 cm) cubes.

Once the kettle has boiled, pour boiling water over the millet and let it sit for 20 minutes.

Also, cut the peeled and cored apples into 1 cm cubes.

Step 5

Rinse the rice and preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 6

In the pots, layer the pumpkin, millet, apples, and rice. The pot should be filled to 1/3.

Step 7

Then pour in the milk, ensuring it does not reach the edges of the pot by 2-3 cm.

Step 8

Place the pots in the preheated oven at 355°F without covering them.

Step 9

After 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 265°F and let it simmer for another hour.

Step 10

After an hour, the porridge will be infused with the juices of the apples and pumpkin, pleasing both adults and children. If desired, you can add jam, honey, or sugar to taste.
