Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Water 0 fl oz
- Brandy 30 fl oz
- Pitted Wild Apricots 0 lbs
- Orange zest 4 pieces
- Allspice berries 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil and let it dissolve. Cook without stirring for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in the brandy. Let cool to room temperature.
Step 2
Divide the prunes among jars, placing the zest and a bit of allspice in each. Pour the syrup over to completely cover the prunes (add more brandy if necessary). Seal tightly with lids and refrigerate.
