Ingredients
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Salted crackers 10 pieces
- Olive Oil 5 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the salted anchovies, clean, rinse, and dry them.
Step 2
Mash with garlic in a mortar.
Step 3
When the anchovies and garlic turn into a homogeneous mass, carefully add the olive oil in a thin stream while continuing to whisk the mixture (similar to the technique used for making mayonnaise).
Step 4
Season with pepper and serve chilled with vegetables or meat.
