Prosciutto Roll with Melon

Ingredients

  • Lemon ½ piece
  • Muscovado Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Balsamic Vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • Watermelon 1 piece
  • Orange zest 1 piece
  • Cress salad 1 bunch
  • Basil 1 bunch
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Prosciutto 3 slices

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a bowl, pour in the lemon juice and balsamic vinegar. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds. Using a special knife, scoop out balls from the melon and place them in the lemon juice.

Step 2

Remove the zest from the orange, cut it into wedges, and add it to the lemon juice. Let it soak.

Step 3

Mix the bunches of cress and basil and divide them into six small bunches, trimming off all thick stems. Cut the prosciutto into strips, half the height of the herb bunches. Wrap it so that the leaves are visible above the prosciutto.

Step 4

Arrange the rolls on serving plates and pile the melon balls on top. Drizzle with olive oil.
