Description

Potatoes with Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
  • Bay leaf 1 piece
  • Paprika 1 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour 1 tablespoon
  • Salad Potatoes 5 lbs
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
  • Morels 20 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the mushrooms, finely chop the onion, and cut the potatoes into cubes. Place the mushrooms in a saucepan and cook over low heat until the mushroom juice appears. Then remove the mushrooms.

Step 2

Heat the oil in a pot, add the finely chopped onion, and cook over low heat, stirring, for 5 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent. Add the cubed potatoes and mushrooms and cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the flour and cook for another 3 minutes, then add the paprika and bay leaf. Slowly pour in the wine and 750 ml of water, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 45 minutes until the potatoes are tender.

Step 3

Remove the bay leaf and serve immediately in a deep dish.
