Description

Instead of trout, you can use salmon fillet or simply add grated cheese. Bon appétit!

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes 20 oz
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Parmesan Cheese 5 oz
  • Fresh basil leaves 5 oz
  • Lightly Salted Red Fish 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Grate the Parmesan cheese on a fine grater.

Step 2

Sort the spinach leaves, wash them, pour boiling water over them, lightly squeeze, and chop in a blender.

Step 3

Peel the cooled potatoes and grate them on a fine grater as well.

Step 4

Add half of the grated Parmesan, the egg, flour, and chopped spinach to the bowl with the potatoes. Knead until a homogeneous dough forms.

Step 5

Roll out the dough on a floured board. Place strips of fish fillet on them. Carefully pinch the strips of dough along the long side, rolling them on the board to slightly compact.

Step 6

Cut across into small pieces with a sharp knife.

Step 7

Boil the dumplings in salted boiling water. After they float, cook them for another minute, then remove with a slotted spoon.

Step 8

Drizzle the finished dumplings with hot oil.

Step 9

Wash the potatoes, place them in a pot, cover with cold water, and boil until tender. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool.
