Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the pork into thin pieces. Pour soy sauce over it. Mix well. Add minced garlic, ginger, and starch. Stir thoroughly.

Step 2

Place shiitake mushrooms in boiling water. Cover and remove from heat. Let steep. Remove mushrooms from water and squeeze out excess liquid. Cut off the stems of the mushrooms. Cut the caps in half.

Step 3

Peel the asparagus. Cut the asparagus and young corn into small pieces. Slice the garlic, ginger, and chili pepper.

Step 4

Heat the pork in a deep skillet with vegetable oil over low heat. When the pork turns lighter, remove from heat. Set aside in a colander to drain excess oil.

Step 5

Heat a deep skillet with vegetable oil. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and chili pepper. Add asparagus, corn, and shiitake mushrooms. Add sugar and white pepper. Mix well. Dissolve starch in water. Add the pork to the skillet when the vegetables are lightly sautéed. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, starch, and sesame oil. Stir-fry until cooked through.

Step 6

Serve with rice or buckwheat noodles. Plate the pork with asparagus. Garnish with chopped cilantro. Enjoy your meal!
