Description

Try to choose a piece of meat that is evenly shaped, without damage, and approximately the same thickness throughout, otherwise it will be difficult to make cuts and slice the finished product.

  • Garlic 3 heads
  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Pork Neck 5 lbs
  • Ground Black Pepper 2 tablespoons
  • Salt 1.5 tablespoons
  • Olive Oil 1 teaspoon
  • Bay leaf 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the meat and let it dry. Cut the carrot into thick sticks about 3–4 cm long. Peel the head of garlic and cut the cloves lengthwise into three parts.

Step 2

Crush the remaining two heads of garlic into a bowl, add ground black pepper, salt, bay leaf, and olive oil. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until smooth.

Step 3

Make incisions in the meat with a long sharp knife from all sides and alternately stuff the holes with the cut carrot and garlic.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 355°F, then coat the piece of meat with the spice mixture and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Wrap the meat in 4 layers of foil, place it in the oven, and bake for 2.5 hours.
