- Lemon-Pepper Mix 0 oz
- Coarse Salt 6 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rub a piece of lard with a mixture of peppers (black, cayenne, white, allspice, pink). You can find this mixture in stores, or you can make it at home, which is even better if the pepper is freshly ground.
Step 2
Fill a five-liter pot with cold water. Add salt and stir. Place a piece of lard at the bottom of the pot, cover it with a deep plate, and then cover the pot with a lid.
Step 3
Place the pot in the refrigerator for five days. After this time, remove the lard from the water and pat it dry with a paper towel. Store the prepared lard in the freezer.
