Pollo al Tonno
Ingredients
- Mayonnaise 5 tablespoons
- Canned tuna in its own juice 5 oz
- Pickled capers 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salted anchovies in oil 5 pieces
- Poultry 20 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the tonnato sauce, drain the liquid from the can of tuna.
Step 2
Place the mayonnaise, capers, tuna, anchovies, and 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice in a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 3
Pour this mixture over the coarsely chopped chilled boiled chicken and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 5
Serve, garnished with fresh dill.
