Poached Eggs in a Bun
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Hamburger Bun 2 pieces
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat water in a small saucepan.
Step 2
Line a wide bowl or deep plate with a piece of plastic wrap, carefully crack an egg into it. Wrap the plastic and secure it with a clip, preferably wooden.
Step 3
When the water boils, lower the eggs into it and attach the clip to the side of the saucepan. Cook for 4–5 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cut the top off the bun and scoop out the inside with a spoon.
Step 5
Remove the eggs, unwrap the plastic, and gently slide the egg onto the bun, cover with the top. Serve hot.
