Description

You can make a larger batch because this appetizer is so unusual and complements meat dishes and cheeses that even the pickiest eaters will enjoy it. It will be both sweet and salty, and thanks to the herbs, it will have a piquant flavor and be very aromatic.

  • Garlic 2 heads
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Rosemary 2 sprigs
  • Herbes de Provence 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable Oil 4 tablespoons

Take plums of the 'Hungarian' variety or prunes. They should be firm.

Make a cut in the plum on one side down to the pit.

Remove the pit and place the plums vertically in a baking dish. The fruits should be arranged fairly close to each other.

Peel the garlic.

If the garlic cloves are large, cut them lengthwise into several pieces.

Instead of the pit, place garlic cloves into each plum, one in each fruit. If there is leftover garlic, add it between the plums.
