Pizza with Smoked Chicken and Pineapple
Ingredients
- Aged gouda cheese 10 oz
- Smoked Chicken 15 oz
- Canned Pineapple Chunks 10 oz
- Pitted olives 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Vegetable Oil 6½ tablespoons
- Milk 3½ tablespoons
- Salt a pinch
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- Chili jam to taste
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Oregano to taste
- White Pepper (whole) to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pizza base: mix the yeast with sugar. Once dissolved, add warm water, vegetable oil, and milk, and let the dough rise.
Step 2
Sift the flour, add salt, and mix in the yeast mixture. Knead the dough and let it rise for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, chop the remaining ingredients.
Step 3
Filling: dice the chicken breast into small cubes. Cut the pineapple into rings and then into small pieces along the fibers. Slice the olives into rings, but not too thin. Set aside half of the cheese and cut the other half into slightly larger cubes than the chicken.
Step 4
Knead the dough again and roll it out on a floured surface. Form a round flatbread with thicker edges. Preheat the oven to 430°F.
Step 5
Assembling the pizza: place the flatbread on a baking sheet greased with sunflower oil. Spread chili sauce on the flatbread and evenly distribute the pre-chopped chicken breast. Drizzle with mayonnaise and sprinkle with oregano. Evenly layer the pineapple, followed by more chili sauce. Next, arrange the olives in rows. Top with cheese cubes, drizzle with mayonnaise and sauce.
Step 6
Sprinkle with white pepper and oregano. Grate the cheese and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Step 7
P.S. If 30 minutes is not enough, you can leave it for another 30 minutes in the turned-off oven.
