Pizza with Red Onion

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Spanish onions 15 oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Rosemary 2 sprigs
  • Brown Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Pour the flour into a mound, make a well in the center, and place the yeast and salt in it. Mix with one cup of water and knead well to obtain a smooth and elastic dough. Form into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour.

Step 2

Peel and thinly slice the onion. Soak it in cold water for 20 minutes. Then drain and sauté in oil until golden brown, seasoning with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Add a little warm water to the dough and knead. Roll out and shape the dough into a large circle.

Step 4

Grease a baking sheet with oil and place the pizza base on it. Sprinkle with a thin layer of onion, rosemary, and add a little brown sugar.

Step 5

Bake for 30 minutes.
