Description
Pizza with Prosciutto and Arugula
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Water 10 fl oz
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Prosciutto 10 oz
- Melted Cheese 10 oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Arugula 5 oz
- Marinated cherries 5 oz
- Canned Tomatoes (Pelati) 1 can
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the dough: sift the flour onto the table (in my case, I used a food processor), pour the water, olive oil, and add salt into the well made in the flour. Knead the dough.
Step 2
Add the yeast to the kneaded dough. Mix very well.
Step 3
Place the dough in a warm place for 1 hour.
Step 4
Divide the dough into 3 parts.
Step 5
Roll out the first ball (thinly, about 5 mm), spread a third of the can of canned tomatoes with a spatula, and top with sliced mozzarella.
Step 6
Bake in the oven for 10–15 minutes until cooked and golden brown (there's also a way to check readiness — by the Italian aroma from the oven :-)) Baking temperature is 435°F.
Step 7
On the finished pizza, place a third of the package of arugula, artistically (you can simply lay it out in slices or twist them into roses), add the prosciutto, and beautifully scatter halved cherry tomatoes.
Step 8
Repeat the process with the remaining pieces of dough.
