Pizza with Homemade Cheese and Capers

Ingredients

  • Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Margarine 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 15 oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Homemade Cheese 15 oz
  • Cottage cheese 5 oz
  • Onion 1 head
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Scallions 1 bunch
  • Tomatoes 0 lbs
  • Capers 3 tablespoons
  • Corn Salad 5 oz
  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water (200 ml), cover, and place in a warm place to ferment.

Step 2

Mix the flour with salt, add melted margarine, the dissolved yeast, and knead until the dough is smooth. Cover the kneaded dough with a clean cloth and place in a warm place to rise (until it doubles in volume).

Step 3

Mix the cheese with cottage cheese. Chop the onion. Crush the garlic and mix it with the onion, adding salt and pepper to taste. Slice the onion into rings. Wash and slice the tomatoes.

Step 4

Roll out the dough into a flatbread and place it on a greased baking sheet, pinching the edges of the dough. Spread a smooth layer of the cottage cheese mixture over the flatbread, then evenly arrange the onion and tomato slices on top. Let the pizza rest for 15 minutes. After that, sprinkle it with capers, drizzle with olive oil, and bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (437°F) for 30-40 minutes. Cut the salad leaves into strips and use them to garnish the top of the pizza.
