Pita with Grilled Salmon, Avocado, and Arugula with Wasabi Sauce
Ingredients
- Wasabi 1 tablespoon
- Soy Sauce 2 teaspoons
- Rice Vinegar for Sushi 2 teaspoons
- Smoked haddock fillet 10 oz
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Olive Oil 2 teaspoons
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Pide bread 2 pieces
- Avocado 1 piece
- Arugula 0 oz
- Potato 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix the wasabi paste, soy sauce, vinegar, and mayonnaise.
Step 2
Preheat the grill or barbecue.
Step 3
Brush the piece of fish with olive oil and rub with salt. Place on the grill and cook, turning, for 6-8 minutes depending on thickness until done. Transfer to a plate and quickly grill the pitas on both sides for about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Cut the pitas in half and spread the inside with the wasabi mayonnaise.
Step 5
Break the fish into small pieces and transfer to a bowl. Add finely chopped tomato, finely chopped avocado, and arugula. Mix and fill the pitas.
