Pickled Zucchini
Ingredients
- Courgette 5 lbs
- Garlic 5 oz
- Dill 1 bunch
- Sugar 1 cup
- Salt 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil 1½ cups
- 9% Vinegar 1 cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the zucchini, peel them, and remove the seeds. Peel the garlic, rinse the dill, and dry it.
Step 2
Cut the zucchini into medium cubes, crush the garlic, and chop the dill. Mix everything together.
Step 3
Add: sugar, salt, pepper, vegetable oil, and vinegar. Mix everything thoroughly. Let it sit for 3 hours.
Step 4
Distribute into jars, place them in a deep pot, and fill the pot with water so that the jars are half submerged. Put on the heat, wait for the water to boil, and sterilize for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Remove from heat and seal the jars, then place them under a warm blanket for 12 hours, then take them out and let them sit for another 12 hours.
