Pickled cucumbers with wine vinegar
Ingredients
- Champagne Vinegar 5 fl oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Cucumbers 0 lbs
- Sugar 5 oz
- Bay leaf 1 piece
- Spices 8 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the cucumbers thinly. Sprinkle with salt and place in the refrigerator.
Step 2
Mix the vinegar with a quarter liter of water and sugar, then add a bay leaf and allspice. Bring to a boil. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and let cool.
Step 3
After half an hour, wipe off the salt from the cucumbers and squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Then, pour a mixture of water and vinegar over them and place in the refrigerator for five hours.
