  • Egg white 2 pieces
  • Cream (40%) ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Chicken fillet 2 pieces
  • Chopped Green Onions 2 tablespoons
  • Monterey Jack Cheese 0 oz
  • Phyllo Dough 30 sheets
  • Onion ½ head
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and sauté lightly. Add diced chicken breasts and cook until done and golden brown. Transfer to a bowl and let cool.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the eggs, cream, 0.25 teaspoons of salt, and a bit of pepper.

Step 4

Add grated cheese and cilantro to the chicken.

Step 5

Lightly grease muffin tins and line each with parchment paper. Place a piece of phyllo dough in each and gently press to form baskets.

Step 6

Fill the baskets with the chicken mixture and pour the egg mixture over the top. Let sit for 1 minute.

Step 7

Bake until cooked through, about 15 minutes.
