Pesto with Pecan and Garlic
Ingredients
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Pecan 5 oz
- Extra virgin olive oil ½ cup
- Parsley 0 oz
- Parmesan Cheese 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a dry 20 cm skillet, roast the unpeeled garlic cloves, shaking the skillet occasionally, for 7 minutes until fragrant and slightly browned. Then transfer to a plate, cool, and peel.
Step 2
Roast the nuts in the same way. Grate the cheese and chop the parsley.
Step 3
Place all ingredients, including the peeled garlic, into a food processor and blend well, then season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
When serving with pasta, you can add a little of the water in which it was cooked.
